Empoli President Fabrizio Corsi has confirmed that ‘the conditions are there’ for Giovanni Di Lorenzo to join Napoli.
Di Lorenzo is believed to be closing in on a switch to Napoli, and Corsi admitted he would be ‘happy’ if the right-back joined the Serie A runners-up.
“These lads started yesterday’s match a bit intimidated, but then they exploded,” he told reporters.

“Bennacer and Traore have shone, along with Di Lorenzo and Krunic, the latter of whom however missed out due to injury.
“We’ll see if Di Lorenzo goes to Napoli. I’ll be happy if he went there. The conditions are there, but we don't know what will happen in the next three days.
“There’s a particular interest in our young players. Empoli have reinforced their image yet again, as a club specialised in working with young players.”
