Franco Colomba concedes he is in the dark about his Parma future as reports continue to grow that he is set to be replaced as Coach.

The 56-year-old took over at the Tardini from current Genoa-Coach Pasquale Marino in April 2011 and successfully turned around fortunes to steer the club clear of relegation.

However, a dismal run of form has continued from the end of the calendar year into 2012, with Inter’s 5-0 win over the team consigning them to a winless run of seven matches in all competitions.

Speculation is rife that Colomba’s dismissal lacks just the formal action, whilst the likes of Roberto Donadoni, Gigi De Canio and Gigi Del Neri are linked with replacing him.

When asked this morning at the traditional mid-season meeting of Coaches, captains and referees of his potential sacking, Colomba declined to go into detail, confirming only that any decision has yet to be made official.

“Do I risk being sacked? I know nothing, I have not yet spoken with [sporting and managing director Pietro] Leonardi.”
