Stefano Colantuono can’t believe Udinese lost 4-0 to Inter. “We did everything for them, including three assists.”

The Friulani dominated the match for long periods and forced numerous tough saves out of Samir Handanovic, but the scoreline was damning.

“Technical errors can happen,” shrugged the Coach on Mediaset Premium.

“In the first half Udinese played an excellent game and it all became more difficult when we failed to take our chances.

“I have nothing to reproach my lads for and I hope we play many more games with this style and approach.

“In the first half Inter did nothing but defend and they only went anywhere near the goal thanks to our mistakes. We did everything for them, including three assists.

“We never give up, but then our energy just ran out at the end. It was a great performance, as Udinese attacked, played good football and we were simply unlucky on the goals.

“We did everything we were supposed to, but against a side like Inter you will pay for every single mistake. The good news is that against Inter and Fiorentina we were not inferior in terms of performance.”

Colantuono was asked about Antonio Di Natale and whether he will retire at the end of the season.

“I don’t want to talk about this any more. He played tonight and did his part. We’ve been asked about this for weeks and it’s getting irritating.”
