Inter's Cristian Chivu has been suspended for four League games after his horror punch in last night's game at Bari.

The Romanian struck Bari's Marco Rossi in the face 13 minutes into the second half, but the incident wasn't seen by any of the match officials.

The disciplinary panel has today viewed television footage and imposed a stiff punishment for violent conduct.

It was initially thought that Chivu would net a three-game stop, but he's been slapped with a 360-minute penalty instead.
