Crotone have agreed a deal worth €1.5m for teenage Universidad de Chile creative midfielder Luis Rojas, according to Sportitalia.
The Italian television station suggests negotiations have proved successful and the paperwork is being exchanged.
Rojas only turned 18 in March and was promoted to the senior squad from their youth academy in January.
It’s reported the cost of the operation is $1.8m (circa €1.5m).
Crotone have just earned promotion to Serie A, finishing second in Serie B last season behind Benevento.
