Chievo are reportedly ready to sack Coach Eugenio Corini and bring in Rolando Maran.

The Flying Donkeys lost 3-0 at Roma on Saturday, leaving them with one win, one draw and five defeats.

Despite recently signing a three-year contract, Tuttomercatoweb claim Chievo are prepared to pull the plug on Corini’s tenure.

Ex-Catania boss Maran would already be lined up to take over.

Corini’s rapport with Chievo has always been fraught since he became their tactician in October 2012.

He rescued the club from relegation and left by mutual consent in May 2013, maintaining the directors did not have enough faith in his plans.

Corini returned in November 2013 to replace Giuseppe Sannino and again ensured their Serie A status.

He only signed a contract extension to 2017 on June 22, yet there are now reports Chievo will fire their former captain.
