The CONI have confirmed Chievo’s three-point penalty for financial irregularities, rejecting the latest appeal.

The Flying Donkeys were penalised for a series of deals that were found to exchange minor players for vastly inflated prices.

The FIGC Prosecutor had originally requested a 15-point penalty, but it was decided on three points.

Chievo lodged an appeal and this evening received a rejection from the CONI – Italian Olympic Committee.
