The two clubs are working together regularly this summer to give playing time to some of the Nerazzurri’s youth products.

The Flying Donkeys had already taken goalkeeper Bardi on loan this week.

Now they have 21-year-old defender Biraghi on a two-year loan agreement with both sides holding options to buy.

“I wanted to take part in the Chievo project and know that here I can find a relaxed environment where I can focus on football,” Biraghi told the official club website.

“I want to continue my sporting growth. I like to always be attacking, even if I know my first objective must be to defend.”

Biraghi spent last season on loan at Catania after spells at Juve Stabia and Cittadella.
