While the bulk of games will be available on a subscription, it has today been announced that the Serie A curtain-raiser will be broadcast live on Eleven Sports’ UK Facebook page.

That match will likely see Cristiano Ronaldo make his debut for the Bianconeri, following his €100m signing from Real Madrid.

That game kicks off on Saturday August 18 at 17.00 UK time, while the following Sunday Inter vs Torino will also be broadcast on Facebook.

Eleven Sports has also reiterated that they are “in discussions with other major platforms in the UK and Ireland to offer the widest possible access to the world-class action available on the service”, meaning there is the potential for television broadcast.
