“I’m delighted with my Under-21 call,” noted the 19-year-old.

“It’s a great satisfaction to be picked because it was one of my objectives earlier in the season and luckily I’ve managed to make it happen.

“My father [Serie A legend] Enrico? He’s strict but on the right terms: he’s helped me a lot, as he has my brothers. He’s a great family man.

“Tattoos? No, I don’t have any. I don’t like them. My relationship with the fans? I always stop for photos and autographs, these things make me happy.

“Playing for this shirt and city is just a pleasure. If they stop me, it means that what I’m doing is good.”
