The 22-year-old resumed training yesterday, having recovered from his muscular issues, and could be in contention to face Torino on Sunday.

It comes as a boost for embattled boss Vincenzo Montella, who will be without the injured Franck Ribery in Turin.

The Viola lost both of their matches without the two widemen, leaving them 13th in Serie A.
