Sky Sport Italia report the deal is worth €7m for the 24-year-old.

“The truth is that at the end of the day Palermo presented the best offer. Now it’s up to the Rosanero to agree terms with the player, but I don’t think that will be a problem.
“There’s no point denying that our director Rino Foschi still has a great rapport with Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini and his past at Palermo inevitably had an influence on negotiations.
“Defrel is a great player and will shine at a club like Palermo. He can follow Dybala and Cavani. The President is playing the long game and signed a player who can truly explode. It’s an excellent investment.”
