Massimo Cellino is in talks to sell Leeds United to a group of Chinese businessmen, according to reports.

The 60-year-old has been the English Championship club’s majority shareholder since 2014 but has overseen a turbulent time at Elland Road.

Now, China Daily claims that the former Cagliari owner wants to sell the former Champions League semi-finalists for a fee in the region of €70m.

Though not much is known about the identity of the potential investors, the Chinese news outlet states that they would be prepared to invest close to €120m in order to return Leeds to the top-flight of English football.
