Brescia owner Massimo Cellino has declared that he is now in favour of resuming the season, but only on one condition – no neutral venues.

Cellino was the most vocal of Serie A Presidents who did not want the campaign to restart, but all 20 top-flight sides have since come together with an unanimous desire to fulfil the remaining 2019-20 fixtures.

“I’ve changed my mind and adapted to the consensus,” he told La Repubblica.

“We must try to resume the season, otherwise everyone here will go out of business.”

Despite that, the 63-year-old – who has tested positive for coronavirus – warned Brescia would not play away from the Rigamonti.

“Of course, it’s still difficult to hold medical tests in Lombardy, but if we start playing again then I’ll stay at the Rigamonti. I won’t go to a neutral venue.”
