Edinson Cavani has left the door open for a summer move. “I love the fans and Napoli, but football is a business.”

The striker has a €70m buy-out clause in his contract and President Aurelio De Laurentiis also refused to rule out a potential exit this summer.

“I really love the fans and Napoli, but football is a business,” Cavani told Uruguayan newspaper El Observador.

“You never know what could happen in future. A lot will depend on how the President evaluates the situation and how much the club wants to keep me.”

El Matador was also asked about Napoli legend Diego Armando Maradona’s praise.

“I was very pleased and proud of what he said about me. Maradona is the best player of all time, I realised that living in Naples. I would’ve loved to have played alongside him.”
