Castrovilli returns two weeks after a knock to the head during the 0-0 draw with Genoa, which left him dazed and confused.
He was taken to hospital for tests and kept in for a couple of days for observation, but is in the starting XI today.
“After a slight scare, I am back on the field and I can’t wait to start playing with the ball on that wonderful green turf,” the midfielder told Sky Sport Italia.
“Atalanta are one of the best teams in the league, with talented players above all in attack, so it’s up to us to neutralise them and make the most of our strengths."
