Luc Castaignos doesn’t expect to be loaned out by Italian giants Inter during the January transfer window.

The young Dutchman, 19, joined the Nerazzurri from Feyenoord in the summer after hitting 15 goals in 34 games last season.

Castaignos, though, has been paired with an imminent temporary move away even after scoring the winner in last week’s win over Siena.

“At the moment we are all happy with his goal,” agent Arie Treffers told Inter Live. “Patience is a very important quality for a youngster like him.

“As for the loan rumours, we haven’t discussed such a possibility with the club,” the representative continued.

“Today Luc has the possibility to train alongside some of the best players in the world. Coach Claudio Ranieri also have faith in him.”

Castaignos has made just four Serie A appearances so far this season, totally only 159 minutes of play.
