Antonio Cassano has reiterated his love for Sampdoria, and admits that he’s missed football – if not training sessions.

The striker is a free agent after walking away from his Parma contact, and said this week that he wants to play for the Blucerchiati this season.

Speaking to Canale 5 the Italian international has again talked up his former club.

“I’ll always be an Interista,” Cassano explained.

Speaking to Canale 5 the Italian international has again talked up his former club.

“I’ll always be an Interista,” Cassano explained.

“However, my heart is blucerchiato, I’m in love with that team.

“I miss football so much. I miss the dressing room and the adrenaline… the training sessions maybe a bit less.”

Cassano spent three-and-a-half seasons at Luigi Ferraris, getting 41 goals and 38 assists in 115 games across all competitions.
