Sassuolo director general Giovanni Carnevali confirms Matteo Politano to Napoli “is not a possiblity”.
It was reported earlier today that the Neroverdi had rejected the latest bid of €25m, and now the door has been closed on a transfer.
“Politano to Napoli is not a possibility,” Carnevali told Premium Sport as he left a meeting with Inter.

“Andrea Pinamonti? "Independent of talking about Inter, Pinamonti is one of the most promising youngsters on the national scene.
“Our desire is to bring players of this type into the squad, but not on loan because we don’t want to improve players for other teams.
“Do Inter want Sassuolo players? I don't think so, we have an excellent relationship with Inter and if they wanted our players I'm sure they'd ask.”
