The centre-back is another of Pescara’s promotion-winning campaign that has attracted a lot of interest in the transfer market this summer. Also a regular at Under-21 level with the Azzurri, Napoli have been heavily linked with a move for the youngster this week.

However, the 20-year-old’s agent has confirmed that the player could remain with the Delfini for their first Serie A campaign in 20 years.

However, the 20-year-old’s agent has confirmed that the player could remain with the Delfini for their first Serie A campaign in 20 years.

“We are seeing what the best solution can be, with it being understood that we don’t mind staying in Pescara,” Ulisse Savini told Sportitalia on Friday.

“Marco is a player who is much admired abroad, the Under-21s have given him a lot of visibility.

“In Italy, the teams involved remain the same. Whilst the price for Capuano is difficult for many to match, it is proportionate to the value of the player.”
