Fabio Capello’s son says the Coach “definitely won’t go to Inter”, despite rumours he could replace Frank de Boer.

The Dutchman is under pressure on the Nerazzurri bench, and this morning’s Gazzetta dello Sport reports again that Capello could come in as a caretaker, with the ultimate aim to get Diego Simeone.

However, the former England manager’s son has spoken about the rumours, and believes his father will remain in a punditry role.

However, the former England manager’s son has spoken about the rumours, and believes his father will remain in a punditry role.

“My father won’t go to Inter, but he won’t go anywhere else,” Pierfilippo Capello revealed to SportItalia.

“He’s happy with what he’s doing, he’s not moving. My dad has been approached by Inter since 1996, he was very close twice, the last time was in 2006, either just before or just after Calciopoli but I can’t remember exactly when.

“However, now he definitely won’t go to Inter.”
