The Italian and Russian media are full of reports today that the former England manager is on his way to Anzhi Makhachkala to replace Coach Yuri Krasnozhan.
Some Russian papers even claim Capello is already in Moscow for advanced negotiations with the Dagestan-based club.
“I can certainly say Capello will not coach in Italy, while anything else is up for debate,” a representative who asked not to be named was quoted as telling Itasportpress.it.
“Now Fabio is in Switzerland for a period of rest. He is ready to view new offers, but so far they have not arrived.”
Capello was interviewed by Italian television show Striscia La Notizia in Lugano, Switzerland, after resigning the England job on Wednesday.
