Fabio Capello has issued a short statement after he resigned as England boss on Wednesday evening.

England are now searching for a new manager ahead of Euro 2012, but the English FA have confirmed that Under-21 boss Stuart Pearce will be in charge for the February 29 friendly against Holland.
