The former England and Real Madrid manager cast his eye over this evening’s Euro 2012 Final in Kiev.

“Spain-Italy in the group phase was the best game of the entire tournament so far. The Azzurri interpreted the match very well,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“I think that was an almost perfect performance on how to play against Spain and nobody else managed to do that during the Euros.

“Italy can win in midfield, as we must not allow Spain to keep possession. I think they will start with Cesc Fabregas as a ‘striker.’”

Capello quit the England post two months before Euro 2012 and has been linked with the vacant Russia job.

“Is my future at club or international level? I am waiting for something that I like. I have received several offers.”
