Fabio Cannavaro is reportedly being lined up as the next Leeds United Coach after talks with Massimo Cellino.
The former Cagliari patron has changed country, but retained his notorious short temper, going through six different tacticians in two years.
Cannavaro was spotted at Elland Road on Saturday to watch Leeds beat Reading 3-2 in the Championship – England’s equivalent of Serie B.
Despite that victory, which left them in 12th place, it’s widely reported that current boss Steve Evans is set for the axe.

The World Cup and Ballon d’Or winner has limited management experience, briefly sitting on the bench of Al-Ahli in Dubai, Chinese Super League side Guangzhou Evergrande – where he was also assistant to Marcello Lippi – and left Al-Nassr in February.
If Cannavaro does take over at Leeds, he will be the seventh Coach at the club since Cellino bought the club in 2014.
Cellino has gone through Brian McDermott, Dave Hockaday, Darko Milanic, Neil Redfearn and Uwe Rosler.
Leeds fans are increasingly irritated at the situation and staged several protests urging Cellino to step aside.
