Antonio Candreva said Belgium goalkeeper Simon Mignolet “was man of the match” against Italy.
The Red Devils won this friendly 3-1 in Brussels, but Candreva had opened the scoring and Eder hit the bar.
“Every game is a lesson to be learned,” the Lazio midfielder told Rai Sport.
“Their goalkeeper was man of the match. We played a great game, but do not deserve to lose this by two goals.”

Italy now host Romania in another friendly in Bologna on Tuesday.
“I repeat, we played a great game against a great team. Now our minds go to Romania and we want to win on Tuesday night.”
Everything was overshadowed by news of co-ordinated terrorist attacks in Paris tonight, including bomb explosions outside the Stade de France during a friendly between France and Germany.
“They informed us of this horrible situation. The death toll seems to keep rising and it’s a dramatic event.”
