“It’s down to the club,” the Italian international told Inter Channel.

“My team-mates made me feel like part of a fantastic group straight away. Obviously, we can – and we must – keep improving.

“I love being close to the fans – they’ve been amazing with me. I want to take this chance to wish all the supporters a merry Christmas.

“We look forward to them cheering us on at San Siro on Wednesday, as they always do.”
