“I want Lazio for some time to come,” the Italian international noted. “Even though Udinese own half of me, I want to stay here in Rome.

“We’ll talk about that again next June.”

The former Livorno and Juventus” data-scaytid=”9″>Juventus player has been a massive success in the capital since his January 2012 arrival from Cesena.

His form had attracted the interest of Napoli this summer, which subsequently led to whispers that the player had asked the capital club for a pay rise.

“I’ve never asked for an improved salary,” the 26-year-old continued. “I’ll say it again, I hope to stay at Lazio for as long as possible.”
