Jonathan Calleri’s agent confirms the Boca striker will join Inter, and be sent out on loan for six months.

The Nerazzurri have been heavily linked with the 22-year-old, though vice-President Javier Zanetti denied talks had taken place.

“Inter, and the lad’s father have decided to give him five months to adjust to the Italian League,” Fabio Amicucci told Tuttomercatoweb.

“It’s quite different from the Argentinian League at the moment. So he’ll go to Serie A, and not Spain as has been suggested.

“The loan? There’s Chievo and Bologna, who have excellent relations with Inter and have a non-EU space available.

“It’s a non-negotiable factor, given that at the moment Calleri doesn’t have an EU passport.

“Palermo? No, that’s not longer a possibility.”

Fabio Amicucci and Silvio Trevisan are negotiating the sale, with an English investment fund, Boca and Inter all involved.
