Jose Callejon is happy for teammate Lorenzo Insigne after a brace for Napoli’s 2-1 victory at Udinese.

“We always want to win on our travels. It’s true last season this was a pretty difficult fixture for everything that happened, but we had faith that we could do well here and get the victory,” the Spaniard told Sky Sport Italia.

The Partenopei hadn’t won here since 2007, but last season it was a turning point in the campaign with Gonzalo Higuain’s red card and subsequent ban, scuppering their Scudetto hopes.

Insigne hadn’t found the net since April, but ended his drought in style with two goals.

“Lorenzo wasn’t scoring, but he was playing very well and surely this brace will give him more confidence going forward.

“Marek Hamsik wears the captain’s armband, but the squad is united like a real family and we are all fighting for the same objective together.

“It’s all wide open and we’ll continue trying to put the points together.”
