Torino President Urbano Cairo has revealed his ambitions for the club going forward into 2013.

Il Toro were promoted back to Serie A last summer, and the 55-year-old has claimed that he wants to stay in the division this season by doing some business in January.

“This promotion was one of maturity,” he told La Stampa. “And 2013 must be the year of consolidation. That is a promise that must be kept.

“We have set out targets for January, but whoever comes in must be aware that they may only play a fifth of the games.

“We are looking for technically good players that are available at a good price.

“Catania will not yield on Almiron – he is a good player, but is not on the market.

“We talked to Maxi Lopez in July, but since then I have not heard anything. We'll see what happen.”
