Cagliari sporting director Nicola Salerno has reflected on varying speculation surrounding Radja Nainggolan, Davide Astori, Mauricio Pinilla and Victor Ibarbo.

The quartet are seen as the Isolani’s most marketable players and have continued to attract transfer links away from the club.

But, in Nainggolan leading the way, the club are hopeful, say their sporting director, of not losing any of the players, until at least next summer.

The quartet are seen as the Isolani’s most marketable players and have continued to attract transfer links away from the club.

But, in Nainggolan leading the way, the club are hopeful, say their sporting director, of not losing any of the players, until at least next summer.

“By signing his new contract Nainggolan has demonstrated a sense of belonging to the city, the team and the company,” Salerno told TuttoMercatoWeb this week.

“This is positive and makes us proud. Is Astori next to renew? We are waiting.

“And Pinilla? It could be taken into consideration. But these are things we will discuss later. There is time.

“Both for Astori and Pinilla, there are hypotheses to be taken into account. We will discuss things when the time comes. There is peace of mind on all matters.

“And Ibarbo? Today receiving a big offer for him is not something that exists. Cagliari’s priority is to keep all of its players, then at the end of the season we will see.”
