It was hoped over the summer Cagliari could finally complete the reconstruction work needed to bring it up to code.

However, today the local council again refused to release a certificate until the building work has been completed.

Cagliari are working on a deadline to register for the 2013-14 season, so are likely to name the Stadio Rigamonti in Brescia as their ‘home’ stadium.

They had been using the Stadio Nereo Rocco in Trieste for the final few matches of the season, but that venue will be used by Udinese” data-scaytid=”19″>Udinese while the Stadio Friuli is reconstructed.
