The Lega Serie A have confirmed that Sunday’s game between Cagliari and Atalanta will be played in Trieste.

The Sardinian club were hoping to stage the tie at the Is Arenas, but the ground has not been cleared for the event.

As a result, Cagliari will head to Trieste’s Stadio Nereo Rocco again – the stadium which they used towards the end of the last campaign.

The Rossoblu moved to the north-eastern city after clashing with the local council over redevelopment work which was required at the Stadio Sant’Elia.
