Juventus Coach Massimiliano Allegri admits that Martin Caceres is ‘a serious doubt’ for tomorrow’s clash with Milan.
The Uruguayan defender has been absent from training this week as he is suffering from a groin injury, and the Coach admits that he’s at serious risk of missing the game.
“Caceres is a serious doubt,” Allegri conceded in his pre-match Press conference.
“As for the formation, I’ll decide tomorrow whether to go with one system or the other [3-5-2 or 4-3-1-2].

“As for the formation, I’ll decide tomorrow whether to go with one system or the other [3-5-2 or 4-3-1-2].
“There are no issues on the right, because even if we’re missing Lichtsteiner, and Caceres is unlikely, we can play someone else like [Simone] Padoin or [Simone] Pepe or someone else.
“The team must not suffer because a certain player is missing. The important thing is to have the right spirit, and Padoin is a guy who always guarantees a high level of performance.
“Padoin can play anywhere, it’s very important to have a player like Padoin in the squad.
“Tomorrow I’ll assess the players who will go out on the pitch, we have [Arturo] Vidal back, so that’s good news.”
In just under three weeks, the Bianconeri will resume Champions League action against a Borussia Dortmund side which is bottom of the Bundesliga, but Allegri wants the Germans are a different proposition in Europe.
“I think at the moment it’s too early to talk about that game.
“Also, because even though things are going badly for Borussia in the League, they did amazingly in their group in the Champions League.
“Champions League games are different from League games. Right now we have to think about the games leading up to that tie, and then, on the 23rd we’ll get ready to play the Champions League game the next day with the aim of progressing.
“The priority is always the next game. Tomorrow is Milan, then Cesena, then Atalanta, then Borussia and then we have Roma.
“The priority is always the game you play next, the closest one. We have a good squad which allows me to send them out knowing that I have the best team on the field for that particular game.
“We’re used to playing a game every three days, so even playing every week can be difficult because we’re unaccustomed to it.”
