Bulgaria have named their squad to take on Italy and Armenia in the 2014 World cup qualifiers, but it does not include Dimitar Berbatov.

Coach Lubo Penev and his men will face the Azzurri on Sofia on Friday evening and Armenia on Tuesday.

These teams are part of Group B along with the Czech Republic, Denmark and Malta.

Berbatov will not be taking part, as he has decided against coming out of retirement from international football.
