Gianluigi Buffon and Giorgio Chiellini are expected to sign new deals with Juventus today, keeping the pair in Turin until 2017 and 2018 respectively.

The pair will attend a press conference at 11am GMT today alongside Andrea Agnelli, with new contracts expected to be announced for both.

Gianluca Di Marzio’s website reports that Buffon will put pen to paper on a new deal which will see him remain at Juventus Stadium until at least 2017, with the possibility of a further extension.

Chiellini’s contract meanwhile is the subject of debate, with Di Marzio reporting an agreement until 2018, while Calciomercato insists the contract will run until 2019.

Calciomercato states that Azzurri and Juve captain Buffon will take a wage cut, taking home a salary of €3.5m rather than his current €4m.

The extension would see Buffon remain between the Bianconeri posts until the age of at least 39, racking up 16 years of service.

Chiellini’s contract is expected to net him around €3m per season plus bonuses, and see the Old Lady hold on to the defender until at least the age of 33.
