Gianluigi Buffon has arrived in Turin to complete his remarkable return to Juventus.
Juve tweeted on Thursday morning that Buffon had checked into the club’s J Medical facility for tests.
Once he has passed his medical, the goalkeeper will sign a one-year playing contract, with a view to staying on in a coaching or directorial capacity.
The 41-year-old spent last season at Paris Saint-Germain but will instead end his career with the Old Lady, where he made 656 appearances between 2001 and 2018, winning nine Scudetti.
