It’s reported that Marcelo Brozovic has agreed a new Inter contract, committing to the club until 2021.

The Nerazzurri have been in negotiations with the midfielder for some time, and ramped up their efforts after he impressed with Croatia at the World Cup.

Now Tuttosport is reporting that a new contract has been agreed, with Brozovic ready to sign on until 2021.

The 25-year-old’s salary will be raised from €2.4m per season to around €3m, and his release clause will be raised from €60m to €70m.

That clause is only valid for foreign clubs, and it’s not clear if the new clause will be time limited so it’s only valid for a certain period of the summer transfer window.
