According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Marcelo Brozovic has already informed Inter that he will sign a contract extension despite offers from Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur.

The Croatia international sees his contract expire at the end of the season and multiple reports in Italy claimed ‘Brozo’ had shaken hands with the Nerazzurri over a €6m-a-year deal.

The announcement was expected to be a matter of time, but the Nerazzurri never confirmed the midfielder’s contract extension, sparking speculations that he could leave as a free agent at the end of the season.

Calciomercato.com has reported that an offer from Barcelona tempted Brozovic and today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport confirms the Catalans made their move for the 29-year-old.

Tottenham Hotspur have also tried to sign the Croatia international, with Antonio Conte being a huge admirer of the talented midfielder.

However, according to the pink paper, Brozovic has already made his choice telling Inter that he will extend his stay at the club, signing a new deal.

Brozovic will sign a €6m-a-year contract with €1m add-ons. The report claims that the announcement has been delayed because the last bureaucratic details are being fixed by the club and the player’s entourage, but there are no doubts that Brozovic will be an Inter player next season.
