Brescia midfielder Dimitri Bisoli’s season is over after suffering a freak knee injury during an accident in his home.
According to the Giornale di Brescia newspaper, the 26-year-old player slipped on a step when he was in his home and in so doing tore the tendon in his knee.
Bisoli will undergo surgery and be out of action for several months.
He is the son of current Cremonese coach Pierpaolo Bisoli and has been in the Brescia squad since 2016.

This is particularly damaging, considering Brescia also lost defender Andrea Cistana to an ankle injury during the lockdown.
