Inter midfielder Borja Valero assures “we’re calm” after the loss to Barcelona as “we’re in a good position”.

The Nerazzurri lost 2-0 at Camp Nou last night, but they remain five points clear of both Tottenham Hotspur and PSV in Champions League group B.

“We’re calm,” Valero told Inter TV.

“We knew how difficult this match would be and we wanted to keep it open until the end, with some chances to do something positive.

“We knew how difficult this match would be and we wanted to keep it open until the end, with some chances to do something positive.

“We were always in the game and had some chances, but they were better. If we wanted to get through the group we had to do what we did in the first two games, so we’re in a good position.

“They were strong and very aggressive in the first half and we didn’t use the ball in the right way, if we’d managed possession better we could have hurt them.

“In the first half we did better and we had a few more chances.”
