Jack Bonaventura admits Milan “should’ve done better” after their 2-2 draw at Empoli and it’s getting tough for Europe.

The Rossoneri were twice leading at the Stadio Castellani and each time the hosts pegged them back.

“We should’ve won and we didn’t manage it,” the midfielder told Mediaset Premium.

“Empoli played well, but we should’ve done more. We should’ve defended better, as we took the lead twice and yet couldn’t hold on. We needed to keep that lead.

“We have to go forward now and pick up points, otherwise it’ll be difficult to reach our objectives. If we don’t win, then of course it’s a bad feeling.

“Now we hope Inter don’t break away.”

Milan stated their aim this season was third place, but as things stand they are sixth and could be 10 points adrift of Inter tomorrow.
