He grew up in the Sparta Prague academy and joined Bologna for €3.8m in July.

With three assists and a goal in 12 appearances for Bologna, between Serie A and the Coppa Italia, his price-tag has since comfortably doubled.

Bologna have a good rapport with Roma, having already taken Umar Sadiq, Mattia Destro and Vasilis Torosidis from the club.
