Bologna are reportedly talking with Rolando Bianchi over a deal this summer, as they look to replace Alberto Gilardino.
Gilardino is set to return to Genoa this summer at the end of his loan spell at the Renato Dall’Ara, having seen the Felsinei’s attempts to negotiate a permanent deal fall short.
Stefano Pioli’s side are understood to already be considering alternatives in attack and have opened talks with 30-year-old Bianchi via his brother and agent Riccardo.

Bianchi, who is currently a free agent having left Torino at the end of the season, has apparently indicated that he would be open to the move, if his request of a three-year contract paying an annual salary of €900,000 is met.
Currently, with Gilardino’s exit all but confirmed, only Alessandro Diamanti earns more than that at Bologna.
