Bologna have apparently secured a deal for Newell’s Old Boys defender Nehuen Paz, claim Sky Sport Italia.
The 24-year-old centre-back can also play at left-back when needed.
He came up through the Newell’s Old Boys academy and his contract is due to expire in December 2018.
According to the latest reports, Bologna agreed terms to sign Paz for just €0.8m.
Newell’s will also be owed either 10 per cent of his future sale fee, or €0.5m if Bologna qualify for the Champions League by 2020.
