It's widely reported that Bologna have reached an agreement to buy half his contract from Brescia for €1.5m.
It would bring the 28-year-old to the Stadio Dall'Ara and back into Serie A, while leaving 50 per cent of his ownership in the hands of Brescia.
An official statement on the transfer is expected by the end of Monday.
