Bologna have announced that goalkeeper Antonio Mirante can return to training after cardiac issues.

The 33-year-old was diagnosed with a suspected arrhythmia, and Serie A protocol meant he couldn’t train or play to protect his health.

“Antonio Mirante, after undergoing further specialised tests as per the protocol in these cases, has obtained authorisation for the resumption of training,” the Rossoblu confirmed in a statement.
