Bologna have agreed a four-year contract with Barcelona youngster Marti Riverola, confirmed his agent.
“The lad has signed for four years, but will only arrive at Bologna in June,” explained Diego Tavano.
“All told Barcelona will receive €450,000 as a UEFA compensation, which means the deal is an absolute bargain for the Italians.

“Riverola is very similar to Alberto Aquilani, although maybe with a bit more quality and less physical strength, but those are his characteristics.”
He turns 21 later this month and has been part of Barcelona’s youth academy since the age of six. He has had a loan spell in Holland with Vitesse.
