It is now official that Bologna-Fiorentina has been moved to Tuesday evening after heavy snowfall hit the Stadio Dall’Ara.

There had already been concerns over the last few days with snow in the region, but a particularly heavy band of snow passed through today to make the situation much worse.

The authorities investigated the Stadio Dall’Ara today and ruled the Serie A match will now kick off at 19.00 GMT on Tuesday.

It had been set to start at 14.00 GMT on Sunday afternoon.

The snow has been causing problems around the region, as today’s Serie B games Cesena-Ascoli and Modena-Brescia were called off.

There are now worries that Sunday's Parma-Catania could also be affected by the weather.
